  • Description: Cyclone separators are simple mechanical devices that use centrifugal force to separate particulate matter from gas streams.
  • Working Principle:
    • The gas stream enters a cylindrical or conical chamber tangentially, creating a vortex.
    • Centrifugal force causes particulate matter to move towards the outer walls, where it is collected and removed.
